About Us

Sonya Gorman took the reins of the business upon Marsha Redman’s retirement in 2023, after having worked with Marsha the previous 10 years typing for small animal and equine clinics and then being given the opportunity to step up as owner.  Sonya brings over 20 years experience as a medical transcriptionist in various specialties along with 7 years of church administrative assistant experience.  Sonya and her family live on a small farm in Missouri with 1 cat, 1 dog, several rabbits and chickens, and a couple of pigs.

Marsha Redman, the original owner, received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Court Reporting and Medical Transcription from the Denver Academy of Court Reporting in Denver, CO.  Her diverse transcription experience spanned over 25 years and included many specialties such as cardiology, OB/GYN, respiratory, dermatology, orthopedics, allergy, ER, neurology, and psychology.  In 2002, Marsha recognized a great opportunity to expand into the veterinary field and built a successful business known for quality and professionalism.  As the new owner, Sonya will continue the same quality and reliability that Veterinary Transcription is known for.
